About me

Hello there, I'm Zak.

I am a student at the University of Portsmouth studying a BSc in Computer Games Technology.
I have just completed my second year and am now working as an intern on a placement.

My goal is to one-day become a professional character modeller and rigger. Throughout most of my life I have been surroundedby computer games since my parents bought me a pre-owned Mega Drive when I was just four years old!

I am particularly interested in the anthropomorphism of animal characters. This involves giving human-like characteristics to animals and other non-human creatures, like bipedal movement and the ability to speak. Famous examples include: Sonic the Hedgehog, Sly Cooper, Star Fox, Kung Fu Panda and Disney's Robin Hood.
